Adhering to green construction principles, the following materials were used: high-efficiency SEALECTION® 500 open-cell polyurethane foam insulation, windows with thermal broken frames and 1-inch thermal super-efficient Low-E glass, an HVAC system that is divided into two zones and uses a Carrier 14 Seer Puron heat pump unit with back-up electric heating strips, and two 50 gallon electric water heaters on a circulation that will provide on-demand hot water.
