Elevated Entertaining at Museum Tower

10/17/2013

The Terrace Lounge at Museum Tower is an exceptional space to gather with friends before a night at the theater.

Imagine living a lifestyle where you enjoy entertaining beautifully, and effortlessly, thanks to magnificently designed spaces and on-site staff who facilitate phenomenal events.

Cocktails in the Owner’s Lounge before the opening night of Bizet’s “Carmen,” an intimate anniversary dinner surrounded by lifelong friends, a gala event supporting a prominent charity - at Museum Tower, your home extends beyond your living space, allowing you to experience entertaining on a whole new level.

Recently, Museum Tower owners created an unforgettable evening for their supper club friends when they hosted an elegant dinner party on the 38th floor.

“Everything was just perfect—printed menus, delicious food, the lights of Dallas glimmering in the background,” said Tanya Mendenhall, Director of Resident Relations. “Their friends were in awe. They kept saying, ‘look at the life you get to live.’”

Another couple has decided to bring their entire family, 30 people scattered across the country, to Dallas for a very special Thanksgiving dinner. The gathering will take place in one of Museum Tower’s gracious entertaining venues. And to ensure that dinner is a culinary event, Mendenhall has planned an incredible “Holiday Tasting Night” in early November highlighting three outstanding chefs ready to create a custom holiday meal for owners and guests. Residents who travel during for the holiday can have their holiday dinners shipped to their favorite destination - Colorado, California, Montreal.

“I wanted to host a party for my mother’s anniversary and I knew having it at Museum Tower would be the perfect place. My guests were wowed by the incredible views and I just love seamless entertaining,” says owner Tracy Cheatham.

“Our owners live and entertain in a very sophisticated way. We create for them an ease of entertaining, because it’s like having your personal event coordinator at all times who can bring in the right outside resources and who ensures that the on-site staff helps deliver events that are flawless and very special,” says Tanya Mendenhall. “You can host an event at home, without actually disrupting your home. You don’t have to worry about rearranging your living space to accommodate tables to seat 30 guests. That’s all taken care of for you.”

THE COUNTRY OF THE POINTED FIRS

By SARAH ORNE JEWETT

“This novel, written in 1896, is about the area of Maine my wife, Nancy, and I treasure. The cottage that Miss Jewett wrote from, and about, is just steps from our property in Martinsville, Maine. The book can be read as a study of the effects of isolation and hardship on the inhabitants of fishing villages along the coast. You can almost smell the balsam fir in the pages of this quaint little book.”

THE FAIRIES OF TURTLE CREEK
