In the Park Cities, the number of homes sold after the New Year dropped from 82 sales in December 2014 to 33 sales in January 2015. With increasing demand for homes in HPISD, Dallas real estate appraiser D.W. Skelton expects an influx of baby boomers to purchase homes in the Park Cities, creating the potential for this year’s holiday sales to outnumber 2014.
