Today’s buyers and sellers know the real estate market is a moving target. That makes the job of a Realtor a little bit different – and a lot more intense – than it used to be, says Joan Eleazer, Senior Vice President with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty.
Eleazer’s team, the Eleazer Group, has been ranked the No. 2 Top Team Producer for 2013 at the company. The team has been among the Top 3 every year since 2003.
In today’s market, an online listings search isn’t enough, and neither is a simple list of homes to tour, says Eleazer. People who want to invest in a home or to sell their investment want a deep understanding of the market, neighborhood by neighborhood, and street by street.
That’s what a seasoned Realtor brings to the table.
“We’ve become a kind of analyst and advisor for our clients, and our evolving role is vital,” Eleazer says. “It’s a huge investment, whether you’re buying or selling a home.”
