The Urban Land Institute recently ranked DFW as the nation’s top real estate market for 2016, based on expected performance in investment, development and home building.
What does that mean to sellers? The market is healthy, with home prices up 11 percent in 2015, according to CoreLogic Inc. Corporations are moving to the area (219 from California alone in the past seven years) creating an influx of new buyers looking to purchase.
In 2015, agents at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty saw an increase of 40 percent in their relocation business.
What does that the area’s continued growth mean to buyers? Competition for great homes can be a challenge. Homes coming onto market receive multiple offers, often in a matter of days. In this rising market, it’s important to work with an agent with deep neighborhood roots and the expertise to write a contract that will win the deal.
Here’s a look at what’s available in some of the hottest markets – the suburbs north of Dallas:
5607 Coolwater Cove | Frisco
5008 Edgewater Court | Parker
