Donovan Westover, Events and Development Coordinator for Preservation Dallas, predicted it, and he was right: The homes showcased on the group’s 2013 Fall Architectural Tour on Oct. 26 were spectacular.
The tour showcased six beautifully preserved and newly updated examples of sleek and stunning mid-century modern homes.
The homes included:
Robertson House by Harley Tracy, 1951
Markham House, 1951
Cavitt House by L.C. Cavitt, 1958
Touchstone House by Robert Johnson Perry, 1959
Galaway House by Glenn Allen Galaway, 1966
Fridge House by Scott Lyons, 1975
“As a student of architecture, I’m always happy to sponsor the great work of Preservation Dallas,” says Robbie Briggs, CEO and president of the luxury real estate firm. Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty was the title sponsor of the event.
Also of note: Caroline Summers, an agent with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, sponsored the 3911 Shenandoah, a Robert Perry-designed home owned by Emily and Steve Summers in the heart of Old Highland Park.
