Mid-Century Modern Design on Preservation Dallas Tour

The tour is Saturday, Oct. 26. The day begins at the Kalita Humphreys Theater with a continental breakfast and an architectural symposium. The discussion panel includes recently appointed Dallas Morning News architecture critic Mark Lamster, architectural historian Kate Holliday, and architect Larry Speck. The panelists will discuss the development and significance of this minimal architecture style.

Tickets for the general tour, which includes six distinctive mid-century modern residences, are $40 for Preservation Dallas members and $50 for the public. Patron-level tour tickets ($85 for members; $100 for the public) include access to a seventh tour house, the Merritt House, plus an invitation to the Patron Party on Wednesday evening, Oct. 23, at the Prior House in Greenway Parks.
