Walk or Run for PKD 2013 in Southlake Town Square
August 27th, 2013 | by AB
From the North Texas PKD Walk 2013 website:
“Chances are that you or someone you know is affected by polycystic kidney disease (PKD) — one of the most common genetic diseases worldwide. PKD affects both children and adults, and often results in a need for dialysis and a kidney transplant. PKD currently has no treatment or cure, but you can help us put a treatment within reach. The Walk for PKD occurs in more than 50 cities nationwide and raises awareness and funds to support the PKD Foundation. Join the Walk as a participant, donor or volunteer and unite to fight PKD!”
