Bathroom Organization Tips and Ideas

Whether you’re staging your home to sell or moving into a new place, an organized home is essential for the overall sense of beauty and well-being in your abode.

Bathrooms are a major factor in home searches these days. People are putting the importance of a luxurious bathroom on par with the kitchen and living room design. So whether you want to play up you bathrooms luxe factor or just want a calmer, less-cluttered place to pamper yourself, here are some chic ideas for organizing your bathroom:

#1: Add a floating shelf under a wall-mounted sink to keep towels close at hand but out of the way.

#2: A tiered dessert stand also works well for attractively storing beauty products.

#3: Hanging storage is a handy way to keep bathroom supplies organized, and a magnetic board is great for storing smaller items.

#4: Mount a pencil/stationary box to the inside of your cabinets for extra storage.

#5: If you have a narrow space near the tub or sink, create a sliding cabinet to take advantage of the space.

#6: Hang and extra shower rod on the inside of your shower to hang bath supplies. You could also install one lower and use it to store kids’ bath toys and such.

#7: Hanging a basket sideways against the wall is a unique and sort of shabby-chic way to store towels.

#8: Or, you can hang a row of smaller baskets against the wall for the same purpose.

#9: A small “lazy Susan” in the medicine cabinet helps make the right medication easier to find.

#10: Mount small pieces of PVC pipe inside a cabinet door to store hair curlers and their cords much more neatly.

#11: Repurpose and old drawer and hang it sideways against the wall for another unique storage method.

#12: For a country-chic feel, a ladder can actually be an effective storage unit when you hang baskets from it.

#13: A tension rod under the sink is great for hanging cleaning supplies and towels.
